Arts Week

Our Arts Week celebrations will run from Wednesday 13 November to Friday 15 November. On Wednesday, all students school-wide will be involved in Performing and Visual Arts activities throughout the whole day, with our annual Arts Day Concert at 2:30pm on Wednesday 13 November.

Diwali – Festival of Light

We are very excited to be hosting our very first festival of light that is Diwali. As one of India’s most widely celebrated events, Diwali is a Hindu festival of light that celebrates the triumph of good over evil, and light over dark. Held Saturday 19 October at 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Don’t miss this amazing event.

Year 4 Production: Quest – A new Hero in Fantasyland

Port Melbourne Primary School presents Quest – A new hero in fantasyland, a musical by John Duff. The Year 4 production will be held on Tuesday 3rd September and Wednesday 4th September at 7:00pm at the Phoenix Theatre Elwood Secondary College. Tickets on sale now!

Let’s dance! Students will get the opportunity to move, shake and rock it out to the latest tracks and party classics at this year’s Disco Night.

Trivia Night

The Trivia Night is one of the major fundraisers for the school year. Parents are invited to a night of fun and games with a focus on trivia. There is also an online and live auction with vouchers and products donated from local businesses. The night is finished off with a little dancing!

Movie Night

The lights are low, the volume is up, and a great film is playing on the big screen! Grab your winter PJs, favourite blanket and settle in for a wonderful night of family fun. Parents are welcome to watch the movie or enjoy the company of other parents while enjoying dinner under the stars.

Bastille Day

Each year, Port Melbourne celebrates all that we learn in French and our love for discovering a new language and culture in a special day in the month of July, as close as possible to the French national celebration of le 14 juillet.

Colour Run

The Colour Run is great fun! Students have a blast running around the obstacle course while getting doused from head to toe in different colours. It’s a great opportunity for the kids to have fun, raise money for the school and for parents to socialise. There will be prizes to win!
