PMPS is eSmart Accredited
In November 2016, Port Melbourne PS achieved it’s eSmart accreditation status. What does that mean for our school? It means that we have an ongoing commitment to provide cybersafe and digital technology learning opportunities and information for all students, parents and staff.

The school does not endorse that parents must buy from Apple. Parents are welcome to purchase their child’s iPad from any retailler. With that said, Apple do provide families with full set up and technical support for new devices as per school requirements, for example, they will set up accounts, install school apps etc.
1:1 iPad Program
In 2016 PMPS introduced a 1:1 BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) iPad Program in our Year 5 and 6 classes. Students at these levels are being asked to provide an iPad which will be brought into school every day and used as a learning tool across the curriculum.
