PMPS is eSmart Accredited

In November 2016, Port Melbourne PS achieved it’s eSmart accreditation status. What does that mean for our school? It means that we have an ongoing commitment to provide cybersafe and digital technology learning opportunities and information for all students, parents and staff.


Agreements

All students and parents are required to read and sign our Digital Technologies Acceptable Use Agreement form each year. Students (and their parents) in Year 5 & 6 are also required to read and sign our BYOD Program Acceptable Use Agreement form. Copies of these forms can be found by clicking on the link below:

1:1 BYOD Program

In 2016 PMPS introduced a 1:1 BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Program in our Year 5 and 6 classes. Students at these levels are being asked to provide an iPad which will be brought into school every day and used as a learning tool across the curriculum.
