JL Murphy Reserve
$10 (wristband + sausage)
The Colour Run is great fun! Students have a blast running around the obstacle course while getting doused from head to toe in different colours. It’s a great opportunity for the kids to have fun, raise money for the school and for parents to socialise. There will be prizes to win!
Tickets are $10 each for students and includes a wristband and sausage in bread. Tickets will be available for purchase on Tuesday 26th February 2019 via Qkr!
Students will be given a Sponsorship Form at school to take away and get family and friends to sponsor them to run the course. All funds raised will go towards the PMPS Resilience Program.
WHAT TO BRING
A hat, water bottle, sunscreen, white or light coloured t-shirt, sunglasses or goggles. Get creative and accessorise in your house colours!
All students must report to the Registration Area on arrival to collect their wristbands. Students will then be asked to sit in their School Houses in the designated marshalling area. Registration will be open from 3.45pm.
The course will be clearly marked out. You will see smiling faces along the course whose main goal is to douse you in colourful powder to ensure that you look like you have run through a beautiful rainbow by the time you cross the finish line.

FOOD / DRINKS
Ticket holders (wristband) will receive a sausage in bread. There will be a BBQ and drinks (at the bar) for purchase. We encourage all families to lay out a picnic rug and enjoy watching your kid(s) run the course.
We need volunteers to help run and make the Colour Run the amazing event that it is. You can submit your interest via the following Colour Run Volunteers form. You will then be contacted directly.
All students (and siblings) must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Is the Colour Run a school fundraiser?
Yes. We encourage all students to get family and friends to sponsor them to run the course (a Sponsorship Form will be given out at school). All funds raised will go towards the PMPS Resilience Program.
Do I have to wear a white t-shirt?
No. However, we do encourage that you wear a light coloured t-shirt so that all the beautiful colours can be easily seen!
What is in the colour?
The coloured powder is made from corn starch and food dye. It is 100% natural and completely safe and edible, however we don’t suggest eating it!
Does the colour wash out?
p>The colour will wash out of your clothes after one or two washes, however, we do not suggest that you wear your favourite designer gear! Wear something you wouldn’t mind getting a little colourful! The colour may stick to your shoes a little more, so we suggest you wear an old pair. You might also want to bring a plastic bag to sit on in the car on the way home.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes. There will be a BBQ and drinks (at the bar) available for purchase. Only students with tickets (wristband) will receive the included sausage in bread.
What house colour is my child in?
Can a sibling (not at PMPS) run the course?
Yes. There will be an opportunity at 5:15pm for everyone to get involved and run the course. Siblings not attending PMPS do not need a ticket. All students (and siblings) must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Can tickets be purchased at the event?
Yes. You will be able to purchase tickets ($10) at the event by going to the Registration Area. However, we do encourage you to purchase your tickets before the event through Qkr!
Can I volunteer at the Colour Run?
Yes. We’re looking for fabulous and fun volunteers to give us a helping hand at the Colour Run. We need volunteers for everything from setting up the course, throwing the colour, cooking the BBQ, serving drinks, and much more. If you would like to get involved simply fill out the following Colour Run Volunteers form.
